We are seeking a creative visual storyteller—someone who can turn strategic concepts into clear visual communications. In this role you will be responsible for creating and producing innovative visual design solutions for our products that best translate marketing and brand strategies. You’ll be designing to meet the creative brief from concept development to final production output and all the steps in-between.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing brand strategy and providing creative concepts and designs to the different campaigns from our global offices.
  • Responsible for general design and production of packaging, visual merchandising, marketing collateral, and other brand communication materials.
  • Designing in-product experiences, web experiments and conceptual brand expressions to meet the objectives of the product/creative brief
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product Development Team to ensure designs and materials are brand aligned
  • Ideate, develop and execute videos as well as graphics (logos, typography, color, framework, illustrations) that are aligned and supports the brand story
  • Work collaboratively with global marketing team and product development to understand marketing material and design requests, objectives and key messaging
  • Design and Create Visual Marketing Material
  • Create and edit brand content including but not limited to:
    • Brand Style Guides;
    • Print material;
    • Digital Banners;
    • Online material including Social Posts, Content, Thumbnails;
    • Instore Banners and Merchandising renderings;
    • Create Presentation templates in Indesign and other programs;
    • Design single page to more complex Website Designs;
    • Design and Create Motion Graphic Material including; and
    • SWF/GIF Online Banners.
  • Manage and organize brand assets
  • Participate and contribute in brainstorm sessions and consistently use sense of creativity, foresight and good design judgment in developing and applying marketplace insights and trends (competitive graphics, styles, fashion, lifestyles, etc.).
  • Identify new methods and techniques to enhance the execution of design
  • Others required by Ownership Team and/or direct Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of graphic/ video editing experience.
  • Hands on experience in design software such as Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, ArtiosCAD is a definite advantage
  • Creative mindset ; Must have expertise in taking a complicated concept and translating into accessible design
  • Portfolio that demonstrates a strong aesthetic sense and experience designing, usable interfaces and graphic layouts
  • Knowledge of product design and project strategy
  • Proven success working with typography, logo design, photo direction and color printing processes.
  • Passionate about graphic design, typography, photography, motion, and illustration.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

Brand Marketing Manager

Role Overview

As a Brand Marketing Manager, you will oversee and execute multi-pronged marketing campaigns across our portfolio of Zuru owned brands and take responsibility for the strategic direction, production budget planning, asset and content planning and production, global marketing plan and global presentations of new products to over 400 retailers across the globe. You will embed a clear vision for your brands and oversee all areas of marketing continuously driving brand growth through campaign success. You will work closely with the Business Development, Product, Local Marketing and Digital team to execute your strategy and drive overall profitable brand growth.

The position requires knowledge of branding principles and a sound ability to creatively execute 360 campaigns. To be successful you will need strong communication skills to manage cross-functional internal and external teams.

Experience Desired

  • At least 3-5 years (Manager) experience in Brand Marketing or Advertising at a consumer-driven company or agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be able to set priorities, stay focused, and set clear milestones.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles including branding, advertising, media buying, sales, budgeting and analysis.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to product quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Sets the global marketing strategy per brand and category, setting goals, production budget, deliverables and working collaboratively to brief in local marketing teams, driving best in class localisation and execution.
  • Owns Annual Brand Plan co-ordinating across Category teams (BD and Product Managers)
  • Set’s yearly Global Marketing Strategy and briefs all local marketing team to vision and approved plans
  • Aligns with cross-functional partners including BDMs, DCP, Sales, on product development, including product launch timing, market rollout planning, FTMs, milestone planning & communication, channel mgmt. requirements and other product specifics
  • Develop strategic and persuasive Brand presentations, and present to retail partners, and retail marketing teams across the globe securing buy in and retailer marketing support.
  • Lead ideation, briefing, production, timeline management and delivery of global campaigns including but not limited to TVC and video content, working closely with digital/marketing teams to map deliverable requirements and optimize content throughout the campaign to drive sales effectiveness.
  • Lead production and delivery of digital and ecommerce imagery assets for multiplatform use – including product and packaging imagery (from product mangers), lifestyle imagery, digital banners & assets, working across team to anticipate and manage suite of assets and ensure effectively used by all retail partners.
  • Produces brand copy for ecommerce, trade and PR usage, building out brand ToV & persona
  • Work with Digital Platform Manager to ensure virtual showroom & asset/content hub always up to date and relevant
  • Set the social strategy and content planning in collaboration with the social and digital team and oversee campaign planning and execution, producing material to distribute to retailer/buyers to showcase campaign and increase support. Holds Social team accountable to KPI’s
  • Lead briefing of influencer launch strategy (production and creative), working closely with influencer relations team to strategize and ideate around influencer content concepts, briefs, sample activation and final content approval
  • Working closely to align local marketing planning to global strategy, approve local plans, driving brand goals through local team planning
  • Work strategically and closely with marketing design team to develop brand mood board and livery and replicate across all asset creation
  • Manages any cross-market partnerships and aligned local teams to strategy

  • Monitor weekly POS and marketing effectiveness and adapt planning to support desired sales

Global Business Development & Sales Director

Role Overview

Global Business Development Director oversees the Business Development Division, driving sales and global growth across all ZURU categories. Establishes, manages and drives global brand and category growth targets, working in a cross team capacity to align Product Development and MM to those targets. Responsible for commercial decision making including but not limited to pricing, P&L tracking, channel management, promotional opportunities, and instore merchandising. Manages product strategy at brand and market level in tandem with Global Business Development & Sales teams, aligning on global rollouts and allocation. Manages brand forecasting, gap analyses and market heat maps, and leads cross-team action plans. Drives in depth category and market analyses with BDS teams to identify gaps, opportunities, challenges and BDS learnings, feeding back to wider team with recommendations. Work closely with Sales management to set and deliver brand strategy to customers. Driving category development and growth across each pod. Working in tandem with Global Brand Director and Marketing Director to achieve brand and team KPIs.

Experience Desired

  • 5-8 years’ experience in Sales Account Managing or Business Management
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership ability and be able to influence and motivate cross-functional teams and hold stakeholders accountable.

  • Develop strategic short, mid and long term pod and brand plans– working with Management & team leaders to build out range architecture and brand strategy. across all pods.
  • Work with GBD on tri-annual SKU setting including range architecture and pricing.
  • Work with GBD, DCP and Sales on global market rollout planning including allocation and timing requirements per market and brand.
  • Work closely with global sales teams to develop bespoke strategies and plans for top accounts.
  • Work in tandem with BD&S and Marketing Directors to set pod and brand goals and strategies to driving these, along with team KPIs
  • Lead and collaborate with sales/BDM and customization teams to create customized items, packaging and pack outs for efficient channel mgmt. globally.
  • Lead brand gap analyses through each phase of forecasting, working with Sales Operations, Sales and MM teams to identify and rectify initial gaps and challenges in sell in pre-launch
  • Lead continuous brand gap analyses with BDMs and Sales teams through monthly heat map monitoring, P&Ls, KPI tracking to establish brand sell in, gaps, challenges, opportunities and ongoing profitability.
  • Lead POS analysis fortnightly across each brand with BDM, MMs and Sales to analyse sell through, challenges, learnings, successes and action plans by brand, account and market, generation recommendations and findings for presentation during team and mgmt. meetings
  • Collaborate with GBD/Sales and customization teams to create customized items, packaging and pack outs for efficient channel mgmt. globally, driving pricing, placement and profitability.
  • Lead Business Development & Sales updates at fortnightly pod meetings and monthly pod leadership updates
  • Strategically identify new global product and incremental category opportunities based on quantitative and qualitative analysis of the industry, category, and consumer behaviour.

Business Development & Sales Manager

Role Overview

The Business Development & Sales Manager is responsible for the growth and profitability of their Business Unit Category across the organization.

Strategic, well-organized and analytical, the BD & SM can envision and work toward the “big picture” while driving best in-class day-to-day execution. They can articulate clearly their Business Unit Category’s objectives and strategy and motivate others across the organisation to meet those goals. Overall, the BD & SM is a sales focussed leader who can make decisions to orchestrate successful business outcomes on a consistent basis. The BD & SM oversees all brand forecasting, gap analyses and market heat maps and global roll out and allocation plans for their brands. They champion in depth understanding of their category, brand and buyers/customers globally and uses this understanding to provide strategic solutions to drive growth.

Global travel required with regular time spent in China.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership over Business Unit Category (Brand Accounts and P&L) accountable to driving Global Brand Sales Growth & Profitability.
  • Ensures clear KPI’s are set and can influence and motivate all departments to deliver against their objectives to the highest standards.
  • Sets the Global BU Strategy and overseas execution across all departments and levels incl. product, manufacturing, sales & marketing.
  • Drives Sales strategy including commercial models, distribution & channel management, promotional strategies and relevant customisations in line with BU strategy and goals.
  • Works with all Sales Country and Account Managers to deliver strategic, tailored and persuasive Brand Programs that achieve sales targets, as well as tactical opportunities and new solutions to fill gaps.
  • Develop persuasive global and bespoke local Sales tools and ensure all Sales platforms are maintained (Price List, Std List) and merchandising across all BU requirements/plans.
  • Oversees pricing strategy, commercial strategy and profitability.
